The Fix
Type /insights in Claude Code and Claude will build a performance report of how you've been using the tool over the last 30 days. It shows what you've worked on, where you ran into blockers, the habits or tendencies that slow you down, and specific things to try next. It can even provide copy-and-paste instructions you can give your agent to try next time. Everything runs locally on your machine.
When to Use It
Run it after you've used Claude Code for a few weeks and when you want to tactically improve your prompting. It's less useful after just one day or one project because it has not had time to understand your patterns.
